Client Showcase

It’s client showcase time, and what a lovely one we have this week while the weather is doing it’s best to dampen moods!

If you’ve walked down Paisley High Street in the last couple of years you will have no doubt walked past Bailey’s Antiques and found yourself drawn to have a little nosey in the window?

Their website simply states, “We sell old stuff” and while that may essentially be true, this wee shop is so much more.

Ben (Bailey) has created a little slice of nostalgic paradise – you can lose yourself in here for the best part of an afternoon: from Daleks in the the display to retro clothing and our son’s personal favourite, “dead old comics” – the paper variety, not actual older comedians who have died.

Not only does Ben have an Aladdin’s cave full of memorabilia, he also collabs with local creatives to showcase their work – what a guy!

If you haven’t been in to the store yet, you’re missing out. Not only on the amazing treasures inside, but Ben really is a delight both in person and on his socials. Head over to Facebook (@baileysantiquesandvintage) and Instagram (@baileys_antiques) and give both pages a wee like to be kept entertained and up to date on what’s new in the Paisley antique market – get it?! *badoom tsh!*

Client Showcase

It’s been a while since we had a client showcase, so why not restart the feature with an absolute beezer of an example of who we work for?

Allow us to introduce to you Aeble (Danish for apple, if you didn’t know) a speciality cider shop owned, and run; by Jaye and Grant Hutchison.

Think of this business as a speciality cider curator and purveyor, but also a community hub that appreciates and showcases art in a variety of forms – from stocking prints, cards and floral arrangements; to hosting pop up events for a number of different artists.

Aeble import and sell carefully selected cider from America, Europe, England and Scotland and Jaye or Grant can offer guidance on what cider would pair well with different meals. In addition, you’ll find a smaller selection of beers, wine, cocktails and the increasingly popular low/no alcohol options.

The shop can be found at 17 Rodger Street, Anstruther, KY10 3DU if you fancy a visit? If you can’t make it to the stunning East Neuk, Aeble can deliver, so you needn’t miss out.

If you catch the cider bug, handily Aeble offer a cider club subscription – delivered every 2 months, you’ll get the opportunity to try new ciders, without having to leave the house. Magic!

If you’d like to know more about this business, their pop up events or to simply show your support, visit Aeble Cider Shop on Facebook.

This week’s client showcase…

it’s the turn of Abbey Mill Fitness Club & Personal Training Studio.

The first thing you need to know about the gym at Abbey Mill Fitness Club is that Stephen is extremely approachable if you want assistance; but if you’re the kind to just get on with your own training, head down, tunes on etc. that’s supported too.

We challenge you to find a more relaxed and inclusive gym. Plus, there’s no contract, you just pay each month.

There are also joint memberships available, which costs just £38.50 per month. An absolute bargain!

This isn’t just a gym; there’s also the running club, personal training and Workout with Cheryl.

Join now and beat the January crowds – you won’t regret it.

CLIENT SHOWCASE KLAXON!

The Include Me 2 Club was established in 2010, by Ashley and Paul McIlvenny; after lots of research with key members from the community.

Ashley has a wealth of experience in social care, while Paul has experience of working in Community/Sports Development and Youth Work. As a team, they were unstoppable in their mission to provide an inclusive and relevant social club for people with disabilities.

The first night in November 2010 attracted around 40 people, increasing to 100-120 each week within the 9-12 months period. The Club has continued to grow, with an average of 150 members attending weekly.

Alongside the weekly social club, there have been special events, fundraisers, trips and outings along the way.

The hard work of the founders, volunteers and members of IM2C haven’t gone unnoticed, the club was recently awarded the group MBE of ‘The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service’. A fantastic achievement, we’re sure you’ll agree?

C Allan & Son Client Showcase

Our client showcase this week is something a bit different from what we’ve previously shown. Let us introduce the wonderful charity, Greyhound Awareness League (GAL)

We’ve been working for GAL for the past 6 years (since we created the business actually), and even after all this time, we are completely bowled over by the generosity shown by and to the charity.

The Greyhound Awareness League (GAL) rescues and then rehomes greyhounds and lurchers throughout Scotland.

GAL started in 1998 and remains an unaffiliated charity, it’s still run entirely by volunteers.

The effort from the volunteers to fundraise, foster and rehome the hounds means that the dogs have a very bright future.

Check out their Facebook page, or website www.gal.org.uk to see dogs that are available for rehoming now.

Client Showcase

Hold on tight!

This week’s client showcase is Jo + Liam. You’ll get their personalities from their bio.

Ready?

Here goes!

“We’re Jo + Liam, an awfy friendly duo based in Glasgow!
So you wanna know about us. Sawwweeeet!

We are a wedding photography couple (formerly Jo Donaldson photography!) and we live in beeeauuutiful Glasgow with our cat Buttz (yep, Buttz!).

Jo loves to jump out and scare Liam when she can, while Liam loves nothing more than to put a record on while he catches up on what’s going on in the world.

The moments that move us are those ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ ones – a touch, a look, a huge belly laugh. The goddam splendid emotion of a moment that may otherwise be forgotten – that’s the magic right there”.

What a fabulous client example, to see us into the weekend 🙂

Have a great one!
